OC Register - Newport Beach

  1. The Angels have endured three straight losing seasons, in large part because of a string of injuries to their pitching staff. They hope to "change the narrative" on that in 2019.
  2. There's a new manager, a new closer and perhaps more depth to the starting rotation, but the core of the Angels' lineup remains Mike Trout, Andrelton Simmons, Shohei Ohtani (when he's healthy enough to hit) and Justin Upton.
  3. The Rockstar Energy Drink-sponsored 25-city tour will come to FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine and North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista in July.
  4. The Angels might improve or the Oakland A's might regress, but one thing is certain in the AL West - the Houston Astros still have a pair of Cy Young candidates at the top of their rotation and one of the best lineups in the game.
  5. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 29 at LiveNation.com.
